Memorias grabadas. Discursos y representaciones en documentales sobre la Masacre de Margarita Belén

Abstract

La Masacre de Margarita Belén constituye un suceso clave de la historia de la última dictadura militar en la Provincia del Chaco. Desde los acontecimientos ocurridos el 13 de diciembre de 1976, en cercanías a la ciudad de Margarita Belén, los gobiernos de turno y distintas organizaciones han intervenido públicamente para instalar sus propias interpretaciones del pasado y mantener viva una memoria colectiva específica. Proponemos en esta ponencia analizar los usos públicos y políticos de la memoria y la historia respecto a la Masacre de Margarita Belén en documentales audiovisuales producidos sobre el tema. Focalizaremos en los documentales: -“La Masacre de Margarita Belén” (2009, Comisión Provincial por la Memoria -Chaco). -“Margarita Belén: la historia completa” (2012, “Peronismo 26 de Julio” -Regional NEA- y Estrella Federal Producciones, Marcelo González). -“Margarita no es una Flor” (2013, Deduka Cine, Cecilia Fiel). Nos enfocamos, por un lado, en los actores sociales (el Estado Provincial, fundamentalmente a través de la Subsecretaría de Derechos Humanos, organizaciones civiles, asociaciones de víctimas y familiares, periodistas, militantes políticos, documentalistas, entre otros) que intervinieron en los procesos de idea y realización, con la redacción de guiones, el testimonio oral o aportes de documentación. Por otra parte, nos detendremos en el análisis de los discursos y las representaciones que se construyen y los vínculos que se establecen entre la memoria colectiva, la investigación histórica, el abordaje periodístico y los procesos judiciales. Esto nos permitirá abordar, desde un tipo de fuente particular, las políticas de memoria llevadas a cabo por actores e instituciones y los usos públicos del pasado que los mismos suponen.

The Margarita Belén Massacre constitutes a key event in the history of the last military dictatorship in the Province of Chaco. Since the public events that occurred on December 13, 1976, in the city of Margarita Belén, the governments of the day and different organizations have intervened to install their own interpretations of the past and keep alive a specific collective memory. We propose in this presentation to analyze the public and political uses of memory and history regarding the Margarita Belén Massacre in audiovisual documentaries produced on the subject. We will focus on documentaries: - “The Massacre of Margarita Belén” (2009, Provincial Commission for Memory -Chaco). - “Margarita Belén: the complete story” (2012, “Peronismo 26 de Julio” -Regional NEAand Estrella Federal Producciones, Marcelo González). - "Margarita is not a Flower" (2013, Deduka Cine, Cecilia Fiel). We focus, on the one hand, on the social actors (the Provincial State, mainly through the Undersecretary of Human Rights, civil organizations, associations of victims and relatives, journalists, political activists, documentary makers, among others) who intervened in the processes. of idea and realization, with the writing of scripts, oral testimony or contributions of documentation. On the other hand, we will stop at the analysis of the speeches and representations that are built and the links that are made between collective memory and historical research. This will allow us to address, from a particular type of source, the memory policies carried out by actors and institutions and the public uses of the past that they imply.
