"Fotos-impactos". Sobre otra línea de indagación de la fotografía en Mitologías de Roland Barthes

Abstract

El texto “Fotos-impactos” del libro Mitologías de Roland Barthes, presenta de modo seminal una comprensión de la imagen fotográfica que escapa a la línea de análisis principal planteada en el mismo libro. En este trabajo nos proponemos, en primer término, exponer y caracterizar esta otra forma de entender la fotografía. En segundo lugar, deseamos relacionar este planteo con toda una línea posterior de indagación que atraviesa los distintos textos del autor sobre fotografía y desemboca en La cámara lúcida. Finalmente, nos proponemos esbozar una reflexión sobre lo que podemos entender como la estética barthesiana de la singularidad en la imagen fotográfica.

The text “Photos-impacts”, from the book Mythologies by Roland Barthes, seminally presents an understanding of the photographic image that escapes the main line of analysis proposed in the same book. In this work we propose, firstly, to expose and characterize this other way of understanding photography. Secondly, we wish to relate this approach to a subsequent line of inquiry that runs through the author's different texts on photography and ends in La Cámara Lúcida. Finally, we intend to outline a reflection on what we can understand as the Barthesian aesthetic of singularity in the photography.
