Imágenes de la violencia carcelaria

Abstract

El trabajo examina las fotografías de una pelea entre internos en una unidad penal de Santiago de Chile. Las fotografías nos invitarán a pensar el fenómeno de la violencia carcelaria, abriendo una línea de reflexión sobre las relaciones entre la imagen y la violencia, la ley y la transgresión, la reparación y sus límites, la biopolítica y la violencia de los internos.

The paper examines the photographs of a fight between inmates in a penitentiary in Santiago de Chile. The photographs will invite us to think about the phenomenon of prison violence, opening a line of reflection on the relations between image and violence, law and transgression, reparation and its limits, biopolitics and violence of inmates.
