Hay algo en mi cabeza

Abstract

“Hay algo en mi cabeza“, expresa un niño, quien parece no comprender nada y entenderlo todo a su vez… ese algo en su cabeza es producto de desvalimientos propios y prestados, solo él, y su terapeuta fueron testigos de esa certeza de saber; que todos pasaron por alto, incluso su madre…sobre todo su madre. A lo largo de este artículo se pretenderá describir el procesamiento psíquico de Ramiro respecto a su hidrocefalia, en el marco de la teoría del desvalimiento, las pulsiones y traumas posibles, entendiendo la cronicidad de dicha patología. También se hará un especial hincapié en la diada madre hijo, así como también los mecanismos de defensas operantes.

“There is something in my head”, expresses a child who appears to understand nothing and everything at the same time… that something in his head is a product of his own and his given helplessness; only him and his therapist have witnessed that certainty of knowing, that everyone overlooked, even his mother… particularly his mother. Throughout this article Ramiro’s psychological processingis sought to be described in terms of his hydrocephaly, in the frame of the helplessness theory, his drives and possible trauma andconsidering the chronicity of such pathology. A special focus will also beplaced on the mother- son dyad, as well as the working defense mechanisms.
