Consideraciones sobre el autismo

Abstract

El presente artículo sostiene la necesidad de una integración de perspectivas teóricas para llegar a un nivel superior de comprensión del tema en estudio. A partir del trabajo clínico y de investigación, el autor propone revisar la forma tradicional en que el Psicoanálisis suele considerar la etiología del autismo y el vínculo entre el niño autista y su familia. Con respecto a la metodología para el tratamiento y la investigación se señala también la necesidad de integrar distintos enfoques y recursos técnicos y se aporta a la discusión sobre el rol del psicoanalista en tales tareas. Se plantean, asimismo, algunas consecuencias metapsicológicas de disfunciones de aparición habitual en estos niños, en particular disfasias y dispraxias, que inciden en la formación de los sistemas representacionales y en la constitución del aparato psíquico.

This article outlines the need of an integrated theoretical view in order to increase the level of understanding on the subject. Out of research and clinical material, the author suggests a revision of Psychoanalysis traditional way of considering autism’s ethiology and bonds between the autistic child and his/her family. With regard to research and treatment methodology this paper also outlines the need of integrating different standpoints and technical resources and discusses the analyst’s role in such chores. It states in turn, some metapsychological consequences of these children’s usual dysfunctions (specially dysphasia and dyspraxia) that influence the construction of representational systems and the constitution of the psychic device.
