Secuencias clínicas del análisis de un niño de cinco años: su lugar en la estructura y modos de intervención del analista

Abstract

La consulta precoz es esencial en aquellos niños que no han sido introducidos aún en el nivel simbólico, es decir, niños que no hablan, niños que no juegan. Este trabajo muestra, mediante un ejemplo clínico, que niños pequeños, en trasferencia, en el curso de un análisis pueden desplegar operaciones de constitución de la subjetividad. En esos casos tambalea el uso tradicional de la interpretación y el analista implementa intervenciones en las intersecciones de los diferentes registros (real, simbólico e imaginario propuestos por Lacan). Es la clínica del acto analítico la que tiene aquí su lugar, donde el analista, en transferencia sostiene la función del objeto, con intervenciones más allá de la interpretación y de la escansión, que son construcciones en análisis.

Early consultation is crucial when one is dealing with children who have not been ushered into the symbolic level, that is to say children who don’t speak or play. In this paper it is shown, by means of a clinical example that, in the course of psychoanalysis small children in transference can deploy the operations pertaining to the process of constitution of subjectivity. In such cases, the traditional use of interpretation staggers and the analyst implements interventions that issue from the intersection of different registers (real, symbolic and imaginary as proposed by Lacan). This is the place proper to the analytic act where by the analyst issues from the register of the real interventions that go beyond interpretation and scansion, i.e. psychoanalytical constructions, thus supporting by means of such acts the function of the object.
