La consulta de los padres por su hijo

Abstract

En la consulta por un niño (como psicoanalistas) debemos escuchar qué se pone en juego en relación a la demanda. En algunas situaciones clínicas los padres han recibido una derivación por parte de la escuela o del pediatra y concurren a la consulta pero no hay demanda. Hay intervenciones por parte del analista que son específicas para que ésta se constituya y es fundamental porque está relacionada con la transferencia que es el pivote de la cura. En este artículo también queda ubicada la importancia de las entrevistas preliminares que permiten ubicar quién es el paciente al escuchar (en lo que traen los padres y el niño) qué lugar ocupa éste en la estructura.

In the enquiry regarding a child -as psychoanalysts- we must listen to what is put at stake as far as the demand. In some clinical situations, parents have received a referral from the school or the pediatrician and go to the interview, but without a demand. There are interventions on the analyst’s part that are specific to constitute the demand and it is fundamental that it does because it is related to transference, which is the pivotal point of the cure. This article also points out the importance of preliminary interviews, which allow identifying who the patient is when listening – to what the parents and the children bring- and what position the patient occupies in the structure.
