La crisis actual en la Argentina y sus efectos en los niños: memoria y futuro

Abstract

Este trabajo trata de las consecuencias psíquicas en niños y adolescentes, de la crisis socio-económica que atravesó la Argentina en los últimos años. Se afirma que esta crisis ha traído aparejados la imposibilidad de prever el futuro y la caída de parámetros. Se articula la idea del no futuro con una actualización de los fantasmas del pasado, así como de aquello que ha sido trasmitido por las generaciones precedentes. Se postula su incidencia en la sicopatología infanto-juvenil actual. Finalmente, se plantea la importancia de los proyectos colectivos y de la acción solidaria, que funcionan como instancias de organización que protegen, y a la vez permiten, la representación de un futuro posible.

This paper deals with psychic consequences on children and teenagers due to the socio-economic crisis which Argentina has been undergoing during the last few years. It is maintained that this state of affairs has brought about an impossibility to foresee the future, as well as the loss of standards and norms. The idea of no-future is articulated with a revival, not only of the phantoms of the past, but also of what has been transmitted by former generations. Its influence on the psychopathology of infancy and youth is postulated. Finally, stress is laid on the importance of collective enterprise, as well as of action based upon solidarity, which function as organisers, not only protecting, but also enabling the representation of a possible future.
